da scagliare

verso i veri criminali di guerra

Spruzzerei i profumi

delle poesie di Mezyed

Fino a che il vento non li trasformi

in cielo di nubi

لنقشت اسمي

على كُلّ حجر

يرمى نحو مجرمي الحربِ

لرششت عطور القصائد المزيدية

حتى تُحوّلُها الريح

إلى سماء غائمة

تهطل أمطارا إنسانيةِ

I’d make missiles from verses

To fight the thieves

Those who murder civilization

If I were Palestinian

I’d sing songs

from Darwish’s poems

Till the dust of city

Turns into lights

If I were Palestinian

I’d carve my name

on each stone

to be thrown

toward the real war criminals

If I were Palestinian

I’d spray the perfume

of Mezyed’s poems

till the wind turns them into

A Cloudy sky

pouring the rains of humanity
